After a rather tough play, Ribeirada's Hélder Pereira got a free kick in the 14th minute. Miguel Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Humberto Laurendi's late challenge caught a Ribeirada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Laurendi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Humberto Laurendi got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Jurgi in the 30th minute of play forced Ribeirada's goalkeeper Porfírio Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ribeirada's Belchior Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Roldan. That made the score 1-2 after 33 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Humberto Laurendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Don Malbec's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Laurendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porfírio Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Moises Jurgi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Porfírio Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Malbec. 45 minutes into the game, Don Malbec's Severo Tiadoro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Porfírio Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

52 minutes into the game, Iker Sal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Porfírio Almeida. Iker Sal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Hélder Pereira's late challenge caught a Don Malbec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Don Malbec's Modesto Ostots shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Porfírio Almeida but with some difficulty. A collision led to Ribeirada getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hélder Pereira hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Iker Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Tiadoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Porfírio Almeida made a huge save. Ribeirada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Severo Tiadoro scored to the left of an out of position Porfírio Almeida, making the score, 1-6. In the 88th minute, Severo Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Porfírio Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when Ribeirada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ribeirada's goalie and right to Fabio Ongile. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ribeirada's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 97th minute Iker Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
