Ribeirada's Porfírio Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warner Loria in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Beto Aguilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Porfírio Almeida. Ribeirada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beto Aguilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Porfírio Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mainor Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ribeirada's Porfírio Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Robles in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belchior Lima in the 11th minute of play forced LinuX F.C.'s goalkeeper Eric Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Dimas Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ribeirada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LinuX F.C. the free kick. In the 15th minute, one of Ribeirada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ribeirada. Eric Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Torcato in the 22nd minute. Beto Aguilar scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Porfírio Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Varela hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Porfírio Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Aguilar in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ribeirada's zone, Beto Aguilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Porfírio Almeida came out of the goal and Beto Aguilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The LinuX F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when LinuX F.C.'s Warner Loria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miguel Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Reynaldo Lankaster sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Porfírio Almeida skillfully saved the ball. Porfírio Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warner Loria, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute of the match, Belchior Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eric Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Beto Aguilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Porfírio Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ribeirada defense, Warner Loria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Porfírio Almeida. The Ribeirada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Porfírio Almeida should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Warner Loria made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, LinuX F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Wanchope to maneuver through the defense. When Henrique Zambujal came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ribeirada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Zambujal couldn't finish the play. Warner Loria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Leo Robles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Zambujal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Reynaldo Lankaster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LinuX F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Lankaster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Warner Loria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LinuX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ribeirada the free kick. Warner Loria hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Porfírio Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Aguilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Ribeirada booed when LinuX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Ulate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Warner Loria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Adolfo Torcato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Duarte. LinuX F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Torcato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The LinuX F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
