Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Oddi started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Carrea in the 5th minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Vicente Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Beliran made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Bruno Carrea sent off a good shot on target. Damiano De Zorzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Beliran came out and tried to block the shot, but Damiano De Zorzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. Emilio Oddi took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Beliran. Vicente Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Francesco Gallucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Beliran having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aversa's zone, Justino Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Bassani came out of the goal and Justino Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Oddi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Vicente Beliran made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, CF Scalonetos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Victoro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in CF Scalonetos's zone, Bruno Carrea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Beliran came out of the goal and Bruno Carrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Ugaitz scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Bassani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CF Scalonetos's Vicente Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Carrea in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Florencio Txeru got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Gallucci came free, but Vicente Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Emilio Oddi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of CF Scalonetos's Vicente Beliran. Vicente Beliran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Manny was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Bruno Carrea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aversa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Carrea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Carrea in the 70th minute of play. Dave Bassani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Ugaitz in the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Aversa's Bruno Carrea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 83rd minute Emilio Oddi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Carrea scored 6-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Beliran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano De Zorzi in the 88th minute of play. Vicente Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Carrea in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Aversa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
