The Oslo City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Kvarme should have stopped the shot. Mads Granly hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jesper Kvarme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulrik Bergström went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute, Ulrik Bergström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesper Kvarme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Börge Modig took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesper Kvarme. Jesper Kvarme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Börge Modig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Kjerstad got free with Sten Matsson in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, Nolmyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Lång to maneuver through the defense. Oslo City FC's Jesper Kvarme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Mellbad in the 32nd minute of play. Jesper Kvarme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Modig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulrik Bergström's late challenge caught a Oslo City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrik Bergström helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Nolmyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Bergström. The Oslo City FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nolmyra FC were winning 0-4.

In the 51st minute of the match, Fabian Boman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jesper Kvarme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Börge Modig succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 53rd playminute. The supporters of Nolmyra FC booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Kjerstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Nolmyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Ted Lindgren. Jesper Kvarme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Mellbad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulrik Bergström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Oslo City FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nolmyra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
