The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Unione Sportiva:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Seleykos Sklavenitis had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Hannes Fernström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sten Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Rousses in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Unione Sportiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odysseas Rousses to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Nolmyra FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Börge Lundhberg hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Alkeides Touchakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Thanks to some nice moves Odysseas Rousses could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Sten Matsson however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Unione Sportiva's Lambros Kaloxylos got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sten Matsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Odysseas Rousses showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. Sten Matsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alkeides Touchakis in the 74th minute. Seleykos Sklavenitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the final whistle sounded Unione Sportiva left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nolmyra FC.
