Szczepan Traczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Narusēvičs, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. KP Brzeg Dolny's Szczepan Traczewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Narusēvičs in the 16th minute of play. Benedito Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Hajduk, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Isaltino de Mendonça hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jacek Bartochowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benedito Nóbrega. Galo do Japi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
