Swift GTi's Jax Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Marquez in the 8th minute of play. Jax Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Santos in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's Davi Rossi got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Mateus Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swift GTi the free kick. In the 19th minute, Mateus Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeu Prado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedroso Rosario. Ugaitz Giralte's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ugaitz Giralte helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Israel Roza to make the kick off. If Laurgain Berlanga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Prado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedroso Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balasi Balza charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The corner led Swift GTi's Pedroso Rosario to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeu Prado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedroso Rosario in the 77th minute of play.
