Birmingham Railers FC's Eurico Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Birmingham Railers FC from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the match, Birmingham Railers FC's goalkeeper Eurico Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slawomir Adamowicz. 17 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Arce came free, but Maksymilian Bury reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Burdzel in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Adamowicz got free with Eurico Gonçalves in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Maksymilian Bury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Szczakowianka getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jurand Wojtowicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Vinhas in the 39th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Maksymilian Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szczakowianka's Julian Waselewicz suffered a sore knee after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Theo Hernández hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Birmingham Railers FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremie Frimpong. When Maciej Haszczak came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Szczakowianka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Haszczak couldn't finish the play. After the first half Birmingham Railers FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Slawomir Adamowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurico Gonçalves was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Tomasz Burdzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Maciej Haszczak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eurico Gonçalves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kauan Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Maksymilian Bury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomasz Burdzel's late challenge caught a Birmingham Railers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Burdzel helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Szczakowianka's Maksymilian Bury got control of the ball when Cléber Abraão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eurico Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Haszczak in the 72nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Maksymilian Bury successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Karim Adeyemi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Maciej Haszczak scored 2-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szczakowianka's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
