Latexperiment Kraków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Eurico Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Marut in the 12th minute of the match. Vítor Ferraz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zbigniew Gaszynski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 16 played minutes Latexperiment Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Chodzinski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Ferraz got free with Zbigniew Gaszynski in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lech Wojtowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lech Wojtowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lech Wojtowicz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Luiz Paulo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Gaszynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Ferraz got free with Zbigniew Gaszynski in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Ferraz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbigniew Gaszynski came out and tried to block the shot, but Vítor Ferraz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. A collision led to Latexperiment Kraków getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tobiasz Zbydniewski hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Vítor Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zbigniew Gaszynski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Arce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zbigniew Gaszynski. Luiz Paulo Arce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After 45 played minutes Latexperiment Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Gecionis. 47 minutes into the match, Latexperiment Kraków's goalkeeper Zbigniew Gaszynski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Ferraz. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Birmingham Railers FC's Karim Adeyemi got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zdzislaw Chodzinski hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. During the 57th minute of the match Lech Wojtowicz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lech Wojtowicz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Latexperiment Kraków's Lech Wojtowicz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Theo Hernández hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Patryk Bronder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latexperiment Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birmingham Railers FC the free kick. The referee ignored Birmingham Railers FC's protests and gave Serginho da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. Latexperiment Kraków's Zbigniew Gaszynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Arce in the 89th minute of play. Zbigniew Gaszynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Birmingham Railers FC were the better team. Birmingham Railers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
