Xzaiver Balaguer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Quirino having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laerte da Silva. Adrianinho Ortiz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dominic Orcondona firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Moraes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when Carpasús FC - FDC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviano Manzardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Täpäl Arco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Ortiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominic Orcondona was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Dominic Orcondona came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Adrianinho Ortiz. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Xzaiver Balaguer took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Quirino. Rodolfo Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rodolfo Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xzaiver Balaguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xzaiver Balaguer was the one to do the kick off. Xzaiver Balaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rodolfo Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carpasús FC - FDC's Arnaldo Ozores quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dinei Moraes, made in the 57th minute of the game. After 60 minutes, Goren Mexia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpasús FC - FDC and the Caatiba MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Goren Mexia hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Xzaiver Balaguer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Rodolfo Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Ezequiel da Rocha put in a rough tackle. 63 minutes into the game, one of Caatiba MZC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 74th minute, Täpäl Arco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Xzaiver Balaguer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Carpasús FC - FDC's Xzaiver Balaguer got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xzaiver Balaguer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Quirino firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Gabriel Giral fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpasús FC - FDC's protests and gave Gabriel Giral a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Giral kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rodolfo Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xzaiver Balaguer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carpasús FC - FDC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
