The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Lamine Yamal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Pogba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unidad de Matanza the free kick. Christian Amaya made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Chesney Eubank sent off a good shot on target. After 8 minutes, Luciano Elivareo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidad de Matanza and the Team Pogba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. Garry Warden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Fero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Antony Rockey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Pogba's supporters rose to their feet, but Antony Rockey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unidad de Matanza's Christian Amaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Unidad de Matanza from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Orlando Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Brynn Murtagh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garry Warden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Elivareo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When Melchor Montes came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Montes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Team Pogba getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Brynn Murtagh hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Team Pogba's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Elivareo came free, but Garry Warden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Chesney Eubank kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christian Amaya. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Orlando Quin made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Team Pogba's Lamine Yamal. It was beautiful to see Unidad de Matanza's Hugo Afonso in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 43rd minute, Antony Rockey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Luciano Elivareo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Garry Warden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Team Pogba's Zane Beadle was substituted for Marcus Ainge. The wind increased when Luciano Elivareo made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Garry Warden successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Gerardo Inko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Warden. Team Pogba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Inko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Rich Tinker kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Unidad de Matanza's Melchor Montes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garry Warden. Garry Warden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Garry Warden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Elivareo in the 71st minute. Luciano Elivareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gerardo Inko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Inko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 85th minute, Gerardo Inko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Elivareo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Garry Warden made a huge save. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Luciano Elivareo hit a great ball. Melchor Montes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Garry Warden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. 94 minutes into the match, Team Pogba's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Montes came free, but Garry Warden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Team Pogba getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lamine Yamal hit a great ball. Evelio Pudes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garry Warden. Team Pogba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 97 played minutes Team Pogba got a freekick which was hit by Theo Ealham. Unidad de Matanza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
