Handley Krause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rune Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolph Jackson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brent Baxter hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Pepsi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Corbett Rosenboom came free, but Rune Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remington Raison kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Corbett Rosenboom put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rune Lundin. After a rather tough play, Pepsi FC's Frans Utfal got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Leeton United FC booed when Pepsi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Lundin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Pepsi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Corbett Rosenboom came free, but Rune Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leeton United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dalton Fasey in the 42nd minute. Frans Utfal tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Rune Lundin. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, Leeton United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Roach to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Leeton United FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kent Lööf made a kick off. When Jörn Lundgren came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pepsi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Lundgren couldn't finish the play. Corbett Rosenboom in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rune Lundin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 59thth minute of the game Corbett Rosenboom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pepsi FC's Rune Lundin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Bruce Roach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pepsi FC's Rune Lundin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pepsi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leeton United FC the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Pepsi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Kling to maneuver through the defense. Rune Lundin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Brent Baxter. After some careless play in the Pepsi FC defense, Corbett Rosenboom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Lundin. The Pepsi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Lundin should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Martin Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brent Baxter charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brent Baxter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
