In the 7th minute Ataman Ermiye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seosamh McLiam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Ennis McLiam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dejavu the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Geary McBjarton got a free kick in the 9th minute. Sezgin Beren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Savic in the 12th minute of the match. Brannan Myler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sezgin Beren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Arkın Togan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seosamh McLiam. Seosamh McLiam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Savic in the 20th minute of play forced Dejavu's goalkeeper Sezgin Beren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denny Dempsey struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sezgin Beren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zawisza Bydgoszcz. Geary McBjarton's late challenge caught a Dejavu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geary McBjarton helped the player get up and apologised. Sezgin Beren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Dempsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Ataman Ermiye notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Seosamh McLiam. Seosamh McLiam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Seosamh McLiam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ataman Ermiye. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Savic in the 40th minute of play forced Dejavu's goalkeeper Sezgin Beren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Denny Dempsey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Arkın Togan charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkın Togan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th match minute, Dejavu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkın Togan to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arkın Togan to make the kick off. Müslüm İltemur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Art Savic dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The supporters of Dejavu booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bragain Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Zawisza Bydgoszcz defense, Müslüm İltemur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seosamh McLiam. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seosamh McLiam should have stopped the shot. In the 68th match minute, Dejavu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resul Reşan to maneuver through the defense. When Denny Dempsey came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denny Dempsey couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Art Savic left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Brannan Myler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 80 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Arkın Togan came free, but Seosamh McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dejavu getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ergün Tecimer hit a great ball. Brannan Myler hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Denny Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Denny Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sezgin Beren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denny Dempsey got free with Sezgin Beren in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Zawisza Bydgoszcz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
