Zinon Psikos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zinon Psikos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sheriff's Zinon Psikos got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sheriff's zone, Matouš Mertl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefanos Vrettos came out of the goal and Matouš Mertl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sheriff players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FK Eldema Mstišov were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Matouš Mertl made the kick off in the second half. FK Eldema Mstišov's René Škvor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Nestorakos in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Alkis Bletsas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Škvor. FK Eldema Mstišov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alkis Bletsas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 60 minutes into the game, Sheriff's Alkis Bletsas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. René Škvor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Grigoris Kasnakidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. René Škvor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 77th minute, Paris Loukoumakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Sheriff got a freekick which was hit by Emmanouil Gialesakis. Grigoris Kasnakidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Škvor having to interfere. Sheriff were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FK Eldema Mstišov for a fine match.
