The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Chihaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Eugen Popeneciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Sorin Chihaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barrilete Cósmico's Venancio Bitxintxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Niculcea during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Epifanio Orkatz struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edgar Gurlui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrilete Cósmico. If Sorin Chihaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Orkatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sorin Chihaias short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Venancio Bitxintxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venancio Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Popeneciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Bitxintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Nichita, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes of play, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Sorin Chihaia made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Popeneciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Bitxintxo having to interfere. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Barrilete Cósmico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugen Popeneciu took the corner. Eugen Popeneciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Bitxintxo stood somewhat misplaced when Sorin Chihaia came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 70 minute. When C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Sorin Chihaia in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrilete Cósmico's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Venancio Bitxintxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidiu Moțoc. Sorin Chihaia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Venancio Bitxintxo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Eugen Popeneciu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Venancio Bitxintxo. That made the score 1-7 after 93 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barrilete Cósmico's zone, Sorin Chihaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Bitxintxo came out of the goal and Sorin Chihaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
