Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matias Fresco started the match with the kick off. Vaughn Dennison struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Aaron Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for American Top Team. Aaron Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaughn Dennison in the 9th minute of play. When Matias Fresco fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Azulgrana's protests and gave Matias Fresco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, El Azulgrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Fresco to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Azulgrana's Vladimiro Cugat got a free kick in the 20th minute. Aaron Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Sands, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 22 played minutes El Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Madeo. After 25 played minutes, American Top Team's Charles Eason shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Estevon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in American Top Team reached it. Aaron Estevon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Ellis went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Vaughn Dennison came free, but Aaron Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Robert Sands shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Richards kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Baltasar Madeo, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Robert Sands might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Estevon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Sands ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half American Top Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Sands stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, El Azulgrana's Matias Fresco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shawn Ashby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Niceto Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. American Top Team's Shawn Ashby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Madeo in the 61st minute of play. After 64 minutes, Eddy Simons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Top Team and the El Azulgrana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Jaen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shawn Ashby. American Top Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Fresco came free, but Shawn Ashby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 68 in the game by Vaughn Dennison from a close distance when the talented Aaron Estevon managed to make a qualified save. El Azulgrana's players were relieved. After some careless play in the El Azulgrana defense, Vaughn Dennison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Estevon. The El Azulgrana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Estevon should have stopped the shot. Shawn Ashby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Fresco in the 79th minute of play. Vaughn Dennison who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Aaron Estevon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Sands in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Sands in the 85th minute of play forced El Azulgrana's goalkeeper Aaron Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaughn Dennison got free with Aaron Estevon in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. American Top Team walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
