Uğurcan Çakır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Ellis in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Dorukhan Kılıçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Ellis took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uğurcan Çakır. Uğurcan Çakır dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Shawn Ashby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuzey Süvarioğlu in the 18th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Sefa Tanaltay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Trabzon Sk booed when American Top Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Richards didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Ellis. In the 36th minute, Şaban Lebib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Emin User was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Trabzon Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Top Team the free kick. After 39 played minutes Real Trabzon Sk got a freekick which was hit by Emin User. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Robert Sands made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Real Trabzon Sk got a freekick which was hit by Kuzey Süvarioğlu. 52 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Ellis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uğurcan Çakır. Real Trabzon Sk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenzo Ellis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Uğurcan Çakır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Ellis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes Real Trabzon Sk got a freekick which was hit by Salih Özenli. Real Trabzon Sk were furious when Salih Özenli was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Salih Özenli kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Charles Eason, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 82nd minute of play forced Real Trabzon Sk's goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Lorenzo Ellis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uğurcan Çakır was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Real Trabzon Sk's Uğurcan Çakır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 90th minute of play.
