An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūras Putrimas in the 5th minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Torsten Ankervig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adolfas Ežerskis hit a great ball. 12 Monkeys's Torsten Ankervig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orestas Kontautas in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, 12 Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thorstein Presterud to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Orestas Kontautas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torsten Ankervig. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Herkus Janavičius hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes 12 Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Resting. Torsten Ankervig acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Herkus Janavičius. After 46 played minutes 12 Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Detlev Blou. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonhard Kimball made a kick off. Vladas Drakul hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Torsten Ankervig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orestas Kontautas in the 55th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Artūras Putrimas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Ankervig was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūras Putrimas in the 67th minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Torsten Ankervig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonhard Kimball's late challenge caught a FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonhard Kimball helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI booed when 12 Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Kimball didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artūras Putrimas succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Adolfas Ežerskis got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute Adolfas Ežerskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Ankervig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Artūras Putrimas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Torsten Ankervig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torsten Ankervig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orestas Kontautas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Ankervig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herkus Janavičius in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Herkus Janavičius got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI had played much better football throughout.
