The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Brogren got free with Torsten Ankervig in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Ola Brogren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Ankervig. 12 Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ola Brogren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Elias Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Dalström's late challenge caught a 12 Monkeys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Erik Dalström helped the player get up and apologised. Jens-Erik Dalström kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnar Åberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Torsten Ankervig. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Torsten Ankervig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Leonhard Kimball came free, but Roger Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jens-Erik Dalström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. After 29 played minutes Blue Angels got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Dalström. The supporters of 12 Monkeys booed when Blue Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Stranton, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a little luck, 12 Monkeys's Torsten Ankervig got control of the ball when Elias Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Thorstein Presterud came free, but Roger Lund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonhard Kimball in the 48th minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Roger Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

62 minutes into the game, Jes Stenhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 12 Monkeys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blue Angels the free kick. After 63 played minutes 12 Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Jes Stenhagen. In the 69th minute, Stig-Ove Landin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ola Brogren struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Torsten Ankervig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Angels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorstein Presterud in the 78th minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Roger Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ola Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Lund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thorstein Presterud showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 85 minute of play. Roger Lund was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Thorstein Presterud capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thorstein Presterud really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. With a little luck, Blue Angels's Roger Lund got control of the ball when Leonhard Kimball tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Blue Angels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Brogren to maneuver through the defense.
