The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Escobar got free with Beppe Di Luca in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beppe Di Luca was a little too slow when Emílio Escobar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to FC Devils getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mikolaj Cwojdak hit a great ball. Kajetan Soroka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Barbanti in the 10th minute of play. Kajetan Soroka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio De Laurentiis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Aris Salonicco FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Emiliano Trombetta hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Devils booed when Aris Salonicco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Brandolini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Dembkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cesare Cappucci came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Aris Salonicco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesare Cappucci couldn't finish the play. Beppe Di Luca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Kiepski in the 28th minute of play. Cesare Cappucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Soroka having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, FC Devils's Luis Alberto Kiepski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Di Luca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Emílio Escobar notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Aris Salonicco FC's Beppe Di Luca. Beppe Di Luca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Luis Alberto Kiepski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beppe Di Luca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Devils booed when Aris Salonicco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Pallotta didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Alberto Kiepski to make the kick off. Beppe Di Luca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Escobar in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Devils getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gwidon Chazon hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Emiliano Trombetta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Devils's Kajetan Soroka didn't even have to move. After 60 minutes of play, FC Devils's Luis Alberto Kiepski made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Di Luca was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Aris Salonicco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Alberto Kiepski came free, but Beppe Di Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Soroka was a little too slow when Eugenio De Laurentiis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 6-1. After 69 played minutes, FC Devils's Grzegorz Dembkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Di Luca came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Devils reached it. Eugenio De Laurentiis's late challenge caught a FC Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio De Laurentiis helped the player get up and apologised. Eugenio De Laurentiis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Aris Salonicco FC's Bianco Barbanti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. If Radomir Sawicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, FC Devils's Luis Alberto Kiepski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Di Luca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Devils fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aris Salonicco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
