The crowd rose to their feet as Cavalerii Viola's Remus Vrejiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Olívio Abraão. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Martin Argăseală showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Pombal in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Cavalerii Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho de Souza came free, but Martin Argăseală reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armandinho Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Argăseală read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Mauro Pombal scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Argăseală, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Remus Vrejiu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cavalerii Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Vrejiu couldn't finish the play. Cavalerii Viola's Remus Vrejiu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Pombal in the 45th minute of play forced Cavalerii Viola's goalkeeper Martin Argăseală to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Remus Vrejiu made the kick off in the second half. Remus Vrejiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Olívio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Inter Gala booed when Cavalerii Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Bărbat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cavalerii Viola's Paul Bărbat got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Víktor Passos hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Paul Bărbat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Passos to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Víktor Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Motta. In the 91st minute Sydney Domingues suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 91 minutes, Remus Vrejiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavalerii Viola and the Inter Gala players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cavalerii Viola's Remus Vrejiu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cavalerii Viola fully deserved thier win.
