The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Börje Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polly Magoo Juniors's Josef Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Şoimaru in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Jonsson during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Josef Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Şoimaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jörgen Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Josef Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Simionică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josef Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 16th minute of the match. Gigel Gârleanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verner Alkvist in the 23rd minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Mugurel Zglobiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 28th minute of the match. Pavel Slicaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Tolsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Pătrășconiu in the 33rd minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Josef Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Slicaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Josef Tolsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Şoimaru went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Damian Şoimaru struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Josef Tolsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC ciufulici. Edgar Comarnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Verner Alkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Şoimaru to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Paul Lennartsson. In the 55th minute Sandu Pătrășconiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Tolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, FC ciufulici's Damian Şoimaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josef Tolsson. Josef Tolsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 64th minute Börje Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Zglobiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Ekberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Polly Magoo Juniors's Josef Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Şoimaru in the 73rd minute of play. Yngve Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the last second Josef Tolsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Damian Şoimaru in the 79thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Roger Lang got a free kick in the 80th minute. Polly Magoo Juniors's Josef Tolsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Polly Magoo Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, FC ciufulici's Damian Şoimaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josef Tolsson. Josef Tolsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
