Maximiliano Errolan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lengua de Lobo's Lisandro Estefan got a free kick in the 21st minute. Lengua de Lobo's Ceferino Nabar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Cociu in the 24th minute of play. Cornel Streche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Berdaitz in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lengua de Lobo's zone, Nicolae Cotofanã stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Nabar came out of the goal and Nicolae Cotofanã tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Cociu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Iacob in the 51st minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Ceferino Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ajax Academy's Sandu Izãreanu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Maximiliano Berdaitz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ajax Academy's Cornel Streche didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Faustino Harkaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lengua de Lobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Harkaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornel Streche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Lengua de Lobo defense, Eduard Iacob kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Nabar. The Lengua de Lobo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Nabar should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Cociu in the 69th minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Ceferino Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Iacob in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Lengua de Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Cebo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Ghenadie Curagãu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Cociu in the 81st minute of the match. Marius Cociu scored 4-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ceferino Nabar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ghenadie Curagãu's late challenge caught a Lengua de Lobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghenadie Curagãu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Ghenadie Curagãu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolae Cotofanã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ceferino Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Iacob in the 92nd minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Ceferino Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lengua de Lobo booed when Ajax Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghenadie Curagãu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Marius Cociu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Cociu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
