The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Marcos Sagastia got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the game, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Rubio Echaitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Regis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Marcos Sagastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Sagastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perutxo Diego in the 23rd minute of play forced La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Ubaldo Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Regis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Perutxo Diego showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. A collision led to E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jurgi Perma hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Caetano in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandez Barnuevo saved E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® from getting behind. La MaKina del Parque were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristo Evis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Cristo Evis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernandez Barnuevo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Lucio Nardo made a precise shot to the right of Fernandez Barnuevo. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Fernandez Barnuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Nastasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perutxo Diego made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, La MaKina del Parque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Urtungo to maneuver through the defense. Jurgi Perma charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurgi Perma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La MaKina del Parque's Teofilo Valentine was substituted for Santos Lixandro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Sagastia in the 80th minute of play forced La MaKina del Parque's goalkeeper Ubaldo Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandez Barnuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Lizer in the 82nd minute of play. La MaKina del Parque's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofilo Valentine in the 83rd minute. The corner led La MaKina del Parque's Teofilo Valentine to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernandez Barnuevo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Rubio Echaitia got a free kick in the 85th minute. Fernandez Barnuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Lizer in the 90th minute of play. Jonas Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Barnuevo having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gian-Carlo Checa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lucio Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. La MaKina del Parque's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Nardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandez Barnuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
