Eliodor Buciu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eliodor Buciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Tăgorean went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dany Marcon to make the kick off. Edgar Vărzaru's late challenge caught a Ninjas in Pyjamas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Vărzaru helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Tăgorean in the 58th minute of play forced YR☆Bald Eagle™'s goalkeeper Eliodor Buciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ninjas in Pyjamas were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after YR☆Bald Eagle™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florin Griguță took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Juninho Junior managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee ignored YR☆Bald Eagle™'s protests and gave Gică Ştiopul a yellow card for diving instead. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Petru Angheloiu was substituted for Petre Izbașa. The referee gave Ninjas in Pyjamas a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juninho Junior, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of YR☆Bald Eagle™'s Eliodor Buciu. 1-4. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
