The supporters of Montesacro Utd booed when Abutres 2003 FDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dave Africano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Mendonça in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Luiz Paulo Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abutres 2003 FDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Montesacro Utd getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eugenio Pan hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesare Zarrella to strike the kick off in the second half. Dave Africano was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Jerônimo Mendonça capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Montesacro Utd's Dave Africano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Meirelles in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Fedele Meazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerônimo Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Davide Anzolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão de Salles succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 68th playminute. Jerônimo Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Africano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerônimo Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Cristóvão de Salles in the 77th minute really tested Dave Africano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an all-out effort, Abutres 2003 FDP's Dave Africano threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerônimo Mendonça, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luiz Paulo Meirelles scored 0-7 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Africano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Abutres 2003 FDP's Jerônimo Mendonça in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
