The ball had pretty good speed, but Severiano Espinosa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anastasio Lixandro scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Espinosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Celestiales booed when ZEZOM TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Eiró didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Espinosa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabio Munio. Pablo Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, ZEZOM TEAM's Julião Vilanova nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Javiero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Rene Baleren got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Vale in the 31st minute of play forced Celestiales's goalkeeper Isidoro Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Narciso Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Lixandro hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Isidoro Javiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Vale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Celestiales's Anastasio Lixandro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes in the game, Timóteo Madureira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isidoro Javiero having to interfere. Carlos Casado made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Julião Vilanova however managed to control. After a rather tough play, Celestiales's Rene Baleren got a free kick in the 81st minute. Isidoro Javiero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Vale in the 82nd minute. With an all-out effort, ZEZOM TEAM's Isidoro Javiero threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viriato Vale, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute Viriato Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Julião Vilanova managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Julião Vilanova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Javiero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
