The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martial De Vriendt during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nieciece's Ignacy Lichucki got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Van De Wiele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Erland, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Teobald Ochabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ricky Meijers made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Ochabski came free, but Nils Van De Wiele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobald Ochabski took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Van De Wiele. Nils Van De Wiele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Nils Van De Wiele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Ochabski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Nieciece booed when VC zoetwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Jennes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartosz Erland struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nils Van De Wiele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieciece. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Nils Van De Wiele successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nieciece's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
