The crowd rose to their feet as Murcia Promesas's Desiderio Erosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils Van De Wiele. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. A collision led to Murcia Promesas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ariel Domenech hit a great ball. Stan Hagemans, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the VC zoetwater defense, Timo Palacios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Van De Wiele. The VC zoetwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Van De Wiele should have stopped the shot. Tancredo Griful showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricky Meijers, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Erosa to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Murcia Promesas's Nils Van De Wiele threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timo Palacios, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Wollans in the 24th minute of play forced Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Tancredo Griful to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Palacios to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timo Palacios in the 27th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Nils Van De Wiele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Van De Wiele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Palacios in the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VC zoetwater defense, Desiderio Erosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils Van De Wiele. The VC zoetwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Van De Wiele should have stopped the shot. Ramón Grau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nils Van De Wiele made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Rijniers during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Licerio Lacorte's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Nils Van De Wiele - 6-0 was put on the score board in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Nils Van De Wiele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Palacios in the 56th minute of the match. Timo Palacios took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Van De Wiele. Nils Van De Wiele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 61 minutes, Antonio Erosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murcia Promesas and the VC zoetwater players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Murcia Promesas got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Erosa. When Ricky Meijers came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the VC zoetwater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Meijers couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Murcia Promesas getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Antonio Erosa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ramón Grau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Van De Wiele was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 77 minutes of play, Murcia Promesas's Timo Palacios made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Van De Wiele was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Marc Van Linthaut got a free kick in the 79th minute. Nils Van De Wiele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Nils Van De Wiele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Andreas Wollans fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC zoetwater's protests and gave Andreas Wollans a yellow card for diving instead. VC zoetwater's Nils Van De Wiele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Palacios in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Timo Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Van De Wiele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VC zoetwater's Andreas Wollans got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Andreas Wollans off the ground.
