Aurelian Vârlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 22nd minute Adriano Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Aurelian Vârlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Pereira. Akim Miner charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. José Pedro Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Bobeica, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. José Pedro Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Grozuță in the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Rossi during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Pedro Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Bobeica in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Gaspar. José Pedro Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Mandache in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelian Vârlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper José Pedro Donatello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Grozuță. Adriano Tepedino took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Vârlan. Aurelian Vârlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Aurelian Vârlan came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's Michel Rossi. But to his dismay, Michel Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ionuț Baran's late challenge caught a E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ionuț Baran helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Baran got a free kick in the 89th minute.
