Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benney Shirdon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Babbis Petroutsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paco Kinnaird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjy Hauschildt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Korakis in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Panagiotis Mitsibonas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stratton FC's Benjy Hauschildt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paco Kinnaird hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Stratton FC defense, Sakis Korakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjy Hauschildt. The Stratton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjy Hauschildt should have stopped the shot. If Panagiotis Mitsibonas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panagiotis Mitsibonas scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjy Hauschildt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordanis Papadatos during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Babbis Petroutsos, was totally fooled by Stratton FC's Brett Ashby, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 43rd minute, Paco Kinnaird left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stratton FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakis Korakis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Mitsibonas in the 52nd minute of play forced Stratton FC's goalkeeper Benjy Hauschildt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjy Hauschildt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tasos Kavvadias in the 53rd minute. Babbis Petroutsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paco Kinnaird in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panagiotis Mitsibonas got free with Benjy Hauschildt in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes Stratton FC got a freekick which was hit by Brett Ashby. Sakis Korakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Brett Ashby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stratton FC and the Drafi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Stratton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brett Ashby to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Boyd Alcock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Babbis Petroutsos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 80 minutes of play, Stratton FC's Paco Kinnaird made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Babbis Petroutsos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 83 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Korakis came free, but Benjy Hauschildt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drafi's Babbis Petroutsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Ashby in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Sakis Korakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjy Hauschildt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Babbis Petroutsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benney Shirdon in the 92nd minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Stratton FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Drafi for much of the match.
