The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Maurice Chalaye made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurice Chalaye in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Burgun in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurice Chalaye in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Noureddine Burgun notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro. Luiz Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 34th minute of play. Luiz Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Chalaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Just Leseigneur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal PSG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montesclarense E.C. the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Royal PSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Just Leseigneur to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44thth minute of the game Maurice Chalaye who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

52 minutes into the game, Montesclarense E.C.'s Baltazar Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Éthan Rottier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Maurice Chalaye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chiquinho de Lima. In the 60th minute, Maurice Chalaye left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal PSG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurice Chalaye got free with Luiz Monteiro in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 minutes of play Montesclarense E.C.'s Chiquinho de Lima was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Chiquinho de Lima hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes, Royal PSG's Valentin Deleau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Royal PSG reached it. Dieguinho Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Montesclarense E.C.'s zone, Brendan Queinnec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Monteiro came out of the goal and Brendan Queinnec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Royal PSG's Jean-Marie Guichaoua got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Maurice Chalaye had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Monteiro. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurice Chalaye was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Maurice Chalaye put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Monteiro. Jean-Marie Guichaoua scored 1-7 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes, Royal PSG's Valentin Deleau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Monteiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match Brendan Queinnec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Royal PSG eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
