The referee showed Khaled Sultan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Khaled Sultan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zakour Khalif kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Atletico Beirut's Khalil Hatim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoît Moutard in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Maurice Chalaye notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Atletico Beirut's Khalil Hatim. Khalil Hatim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Burgun in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalil Hatim saved Atletico Beirut from getting behind. Khalil Hatim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurice Chalaye stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Noureddine Burgun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Khalil Hatim made a huge save. In the 57th minute of the match, Noureddine Burgun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Khalil Hatim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Atletico Beirut's goal looked a bit too open when Maurice Chalaye came free, but Khalil Hatim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Khalil Labib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Maurice Chalaye rounded Atletico Beirut's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Just Leseigneur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalil Hatim having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Atletico Beirut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nassar Mazhar to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Brendan Queinnec sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atletico Beirut's Khalil Hatim didn't even have to move. The crowd rose to their feet as Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalil Hatim. That made the score 0-6 after 91 minutes of play.
