Benjamin Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Gauci in the 4th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Christian Scalpello had to leave the field with a concussion. Sliema Dragons FC's Kyle Axisa was substituted for Christian Scalpello. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Ronaldo Gol got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Miggiani to maneuver through the defense. John Balzan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Gol. With a little luck, Rockets's Benjamin Mazza got control of the ball when Vince Gauci tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Gol. Benjamin Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Gauci, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Benjamin Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Borg in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Terra to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbson Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Patrick Buttigieg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sliema Dragons FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Buttigieg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Buttigieg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Borg in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Toninho Terra hit a great ball. The supporters of Sliema Dragons FC booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Rockets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Rocha to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Borg in the 82nd minute of the match. Arthur Facciol kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Vince Gauci got a free kick in the 88th minute. John Balzan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Messias in the 92nd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
