In the 4th minute, Teofilo Enaut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carter Di Nino. The goal made the score 1-0. Paulino Gipuzkoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, S.S.C. NAPOLI's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Nisio came free, but Carter Di Nino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Mariotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Obano's late challenge caught a S.S.C. NAPOLI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Obano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Estrellas de Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Obano to maneuver through the defense. Nunez Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Moscatelli in the 14th minute of play. Nunez Astudillo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by S.S.C. A wasted opportunity for Estrellas de Caballito. 23 minutes into the game, Benicio Mateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrellas de Caballito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.S.C. NAPOLI the free kick. The supporters of S.S.C. NAPOLI booed when Estrellas de Caballito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Ermanno Scarinci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nunez Astudillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nunez Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Gentile in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Estrellas de Caballito's Geronimo Nisio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carter Di Nino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Estrellas de Caballito's Benicio Mateo got a free kick in the 30th minute. The wind increased when Geronimo Nisio made the kick off in the second half. Carter Di Nino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Enaut in the 52nd minute of the match. Geronimo Nisio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. The Estrellas de Caballito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. If Teofilo Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Higinio Luzea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrellas de Caballito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1.
