Felipe Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Felipe Flores came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Flores couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Marcos Madeo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 21 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Romelio. Narciso Matteo's late challenge caught a Xiboquinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Matteo helped the player get up and apologised. Narciso Matteo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marcos Madeo hit a great ball. Paulo Romelio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Elder Paranaense got a free kick in the 47th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Flores in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ravi Ninho to make the kick off. Xiboquinha FC's Gil Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Madeo in the 53rd minute of play. Gil Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Flores in the 56th minute of the match. André Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Erramun having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Elder Paranaense. Marcos Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gil Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Vergílio. In the 62nd minute, Ruben Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Meirelles in the 64th minute of play forced La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Casimiro Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcos Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Madeo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. La Gallardeta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
