In the 4th minute, Ivan Mrňus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 9 minutes, Roland Záhoran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFK Petržalka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Záhoran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rodborough booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Cupka didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Roland Záhoran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Death. Rodborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Záhoran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tibor Barmoš took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Martyon Death to make any attempt to save it. Carlos Couzens hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Nilson Howarth fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodborough's protests and gave Nilson Howarth a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Rodborough's Nilson Howarth got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Roland Záhoran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martyon Death. Roland Záhoran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Martyon Death made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Záhoran in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Hvižďák to maneuver through the defense. AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bickford Cochrane made a kick off. If Clifford Copelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Rodborough's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Záhoran came free, but Martyon Death reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberd Valentík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bickford Cochrane in the 61st minute of the match. When Jarrod Baxter fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodborough's protests and gave Jarrod Baxter a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when Rodborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrod Baxter didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Roland Záhoran put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Martyon Death. The audience was convinced that Roland Záhoran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martyon Death was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Roland Záhoran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martyon Death. Rodborough's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Záhoran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Martyon Death took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Záhoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Roland Záhoran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martyon Death was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Záhoran in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martyon Death prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
