Carsten van Fessum's late challenge caught a fc priben's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carsten van Fessum helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Carsten van Fessum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, fc priben's Volli Osjamets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruud Windmuller narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruud Windmuller made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mihkel Kalamees sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to fc priben getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sergo Vilborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Deuring in the 43rd minute of the match. When Jürgen Raja fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc priben's protests and gave Jürgen Raja a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half SV Balverliefd were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jos Deuring made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jürgen Raja in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruud Windmuller saved SV Balverliefd from getting behind. After 55 played minutes fc priben got a freekick which was hit by Bernhard Ots. Steve Verbeek charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Verbeek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Verbeek to maneuver through the defense. Ruud Windmuller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Raja in the 63rd minute of the match. fc priben's Sergo Vilborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Deuring in the 66th minute of play. Ruud Windmuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihkel Kalamees, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Jos Deuring who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc priben's Sergo Vilborn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Raja came free, but Ruud Windmuller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Alferink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Sergo Vilborn made a huge save. 77 minutes into the game, fc priben's Jürgen Raja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruud Windmuller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 80th minute of the match, Jos Deuring tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergo Vilborn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in fc priben's zone, Huib Smit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergo Vilborn came out of the goal and Huib Smit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Sergo Vilborn managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when SV Balverliefd's Jos Deuring fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in fc priben's zone, Jos Deuring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergo Vilborn came out of the goal and Jos Deuring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jürgen Raja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Jos Deuring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergo Vilborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
