The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Mendes came free, but Ruud Windmuller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes SV Balverliefd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oséas Veloso who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FIEL F.C.'s corner Oséas Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruud Windmuller quite easily take care of the ball. In the 5th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huib Smit to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséas Veloso. In the 9th minute Jos Deuring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Davi Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIEL F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Travassos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud Windmuller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes of play, SV Balverliefd's Erwin Moes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Deuring in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, FIEL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Huib Smit came free, but Diego Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Alferink scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute, Heiko Mulder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Ritsma to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Duarte's late challenge caught a SV Balverliefd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. SV Balverliefd's Folker Schreuder was substituted for Erwin Moes. In the 34th match minute, FIEL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Folker Schreuder hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, SV Balverliefd's Folker Schreuder made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Davi Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ruud Windmuller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jos Deuring made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of SV Balverliefd:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FIEL F.C.:s goal. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for FIEL F.C.. Oséas Veloso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruud Windmuller. 1-3. Ruud Windmuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Folker Schreuder charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Folker Schreuder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Folker Schreuder kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Clóvis Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruud Windmuller showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The SV Balverliefd fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when SV Balverliefd's Huib Smit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Huib Smit hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Luizinho Mendes's late challenge caught a SV Balverliefd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizinho Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when FIEL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Verbeek in the 71st minute of play. FIEL F.C.'s Diego Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Deuring in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FIEL F.C.'s Cauan Amorim got a free kick in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, FIEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Diego Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Huib Smit. Diego Queiroz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Veloso in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruud Windmuller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten van Fessum to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, FIEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Diego Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Alferink. 93 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Veloso came free, but Ruud Windmuller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SV Balverliefd's Ruud Windmuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Veloso in the 96th minute of play. SV Balverliefd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
