An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Jarosiewicz in the 5th minute of play forced Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Lucas Geijselinckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Soren Hauwaerts fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cyryl Harasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soren Hauwaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Soren Hauwaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Harasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szymon Jarosiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cyryl Harasimowicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Soren Hauwaerts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Racing Matinette's Lucas Geijselinckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Jarosiewicz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Racing Matinette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Goovaerts to maneuver through the defense. Racing Matinette's Lucas Geijselinckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Mentus in the 32nd minute of play. Szymon Jarosiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cyryl Harasimowicz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Soren Hauwaerts made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fragleses's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Enfant was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Matinette's players had a chance to rest. Boguslaw Gregorczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Walter Verstuyft's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyryl Harasimowicz was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Szymon Jarosiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Geijselinckx having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Racing Matinette's Marten Van den Berchen got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes, Soren Hauwaerts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Matinette and the Fragleses players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Soren Hauwaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Racing Matinette fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Racing Matinette's Soren Hauwaerts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Racing Matinette's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
