Esen Ağın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos Deuring in the 17th minute of the match. Uğuralp Pamiroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Windmuller having to interfere. Uğuralp Pamiroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ruud Windmuller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Moes charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erwin Moes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Moes. Roland Ritsma's late challenge caught a F.C internazionale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akil Akdemirci scored 4-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruud Windmuller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Twan Blanc fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Balverliefd's protests and gave Twan Blanc a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Twan Blanc. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uğuralp Pamiroğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Jos Deuring notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of F.C internazionale's Esen Ağın. Ruud Windmuller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullah Eryaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Uğuralp Pamiroğlu came free, but Ruud Windmuller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C internazionale's Esen Ağın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huib Smit in the 83rd minute of play. Ruud Windmuller made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Şemsettin Oğuzer sent off a good shot on target. Steve Verbeek kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Uğuralp Pamiroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruud Windmuller. SV Balverliefd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uğuralp Pamiroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Ruud Windmuller made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Zeki Ongu sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C internazionale players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SV Balverliefd.
