After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Fulgencio Txanton got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Matias Shepherd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viggo Britz was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Dario Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Viggo Britz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viggo Britz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Harkaitz in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Fulgencio Txanton got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 28 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Edur. Pitoy Concha came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Puskas United's Ulf Bergqvist. But to his dismay, Ulf Bergqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 43 minutes, Henrik Molin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puskas United and the ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Puskas United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Henrik Molin hit a great ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Matias Shepherd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puskas United's Viggo Britz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Molin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Puskas United's Viggo Britz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Puskas United from getting a goal against them. Pitoy Concha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Bremming, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Salvador Benino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Henrik Molin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puskas United's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Molin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pitoy Concha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Bergqvist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Dario Harkaitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viggo Britz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 played minutes ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Edur. Claudio-Paul Caniggia's late challenge caught a Puskas United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio-Paul Caniggia helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio-Paul Caniggia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Henrik Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pitoy Concha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Salvador Benino suffered a sprained foot after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Einar Persson's late challenge caught a ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Einar Persson helped the player get up and apologised. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ made a substitution. Teodosio Abel replaced Salvador Benino. In the 84th match minute, Puskas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Persson to maneuver through the defense. Viggo Britz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Shepherd's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Alejo Edur fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s protests and gave Alejo Edur a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the match, Puskas United's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Shepherd came free, but Viggo Britz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Henrik Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viggo Britz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Shepherd went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Puskas United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
