Richie Verdeces had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Raymond Van Aerschodt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mosen Salce took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martijn Verbeeck. Martijn Verbeeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Thomas-Jan Ooms fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De krokante kroketjes's protests and gave Thomas-Jan Ooms a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes De krokante kroketjes got a freekick which was hit by Thomas-Jan Ooms. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hondo Gao in the 18th minute of play forced De krokante kroketjes's goalkeeper Martijn Verbeeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Staf Van Essche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De krokante kroketjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM the free kick. Martijn Verbeeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hondo Gao, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Mosen Salce tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martijn Verbeeck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Florinio Gayangos might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martijn Verbeeck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florinio Gayangos ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Raymond Van Aerschodt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Richie Verdeces. Richie Verdeces was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st match minute, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutor Andino to maneuver through the defense. Richie Verdeces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Haelemans in the 35th minute of play. Richie Verdeces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibau Van Der Linden in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Raymond Van Aerschodt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De krokante kroketjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM the free kick. After 37 played minutes De krokante kroketjes got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Van Aerschodt. Pierre-Paul De Hertoghe kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mosen Salce kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Hendrik Villyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richie Verdeces showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raymond Van Aerschodt took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richie Verdeces. Richie Verdeces dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mosen Salce was the one to do the kick off. Tibau Van Der Linden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Richie Verdeces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richie Verdeces was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dieter Haelemans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. Martijn Verbeeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutor Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tibau Van Der Linden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richie Verdeces was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 76 minutes into the match, Raymond Van Aerschodt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richie Verdeces. BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymond Van Aerschodt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 82nd minute, Dieter Haelemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mosen Salce kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, De krokante kroketjes's Raymond Van Aerschodt made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richie Verdeces was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eutor Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richie Verdeces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Van Aerschodt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 97 minutes into the match, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Staf Van Essche came free, but Richie Verdeces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The De krokante kroketjes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
