After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bozhin Tumangelov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lauta Army's supporters rose to their feet, but Bozhin Tumangelov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th match minute, Pombal 2003 F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Lauta Army's Delcho Vladimirov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilson Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo de Queirós in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Lauta Army booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Delcho Vladimirov put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gilson Arósio. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Moreno was the one to do the kick off. Mito Momin came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luís Moreno. But to his dismay, Luís Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delcho Vladimirov in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Betão Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mito Momin having to interfere. Gilson Arósio made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bozhin Tumangelov sent off a good shot on target. Gilson Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delcho Vladimirov in the 76th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Gilson Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaloyan Zhelezov. In the 86th minute, Betão Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
