In the 18th minute, Noel Schaffert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Jayaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 20 minutes, Christoph Sönksen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academica Pulheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoph Sönksen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-4 became the score in the 26th minute when Christoph Sönksen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Christoph Sönksen took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Jayaga. Santo Jayaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Santo Jayaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Schaffert in the 31st minute of the match. Trescientos's Santo Jayaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Biehlert in the 33rd minute of play. Noel Schaffert succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. In the 38th minute, Roman Biehlert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Jayaga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Santo Jayaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Schaffert's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Santo Jayaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Sönksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-7 lead.

Academica Pulheim's Michael Paziorek was substituted for Hadrian Greilinger. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Schaffert was the one to do the kick off. Christoph Sönksen took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Jayaga. Santo Jayaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Christoph Sönksen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Schaffert in the 60th minute of play forced Trescientos's goalkeeper Santo Jayaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academica Pulheim's Barnabas Rogge was substituted for Christoph Sönksen. After some careless play in the Trescientos defense, Barnabas Rogge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Jayaga. The Trescientos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Jayaga should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Barnabas Rogge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academica Pulheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnabas Rogge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Jayaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trescientos's Santo Jayaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Schaffert in the 81st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Academica Pulheim's corner Roman Biehlert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santo Jayaga quite easily take care of the ball. Santo Jayaga didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 1-11. Trescientos's Santo Jayaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Trescientos from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute Noel Schaffert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Jayaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Jayaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Schaffert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santo Jayaga. That made the score 1-12 after 93 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Roman Biehlert took a quick shot and it went in 1-13 without a chance for Santo Jayaga to make any attempt to save it.
