After 13 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Servet Tanırcan. Zekai Hilal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Melgarejo in the 17th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Er Can quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Er Can managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCFiratRom's supporters rose to their feet, but Er Can was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Gredig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Ali Nejat Maruf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernán Pereda kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Patricio Blanch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Hilal having to interfere. Er Can recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nejat Maruf. After the first half FCFiratRom were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eduard Bacarreza made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Mariachi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nejat Maruf came free, but Cristiano Gredig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Talha Gök fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FCFiratRom's protests and gave Talha Gök a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Talha Gök. The audience was convinced that Er Can's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Gredig was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. If Eduard Bacarreza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FCFiratRom made a substitution. Necaettin Safih replaced Ali Nejat Maruf. FCFiratRom's Mehmet Emre Olcay was substituted for Bahattin Enfal. The supporters of FCFiratRom booed when Mariachi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marino Von Stillfried didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mariachi FC defense, Er Can kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristiano Gredig. The Mariachi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristiano Gredig should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Mariachi FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Francisco Alberto Epulef hit a great ball. Rama Zanetti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bulut Bulutelli hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FCFiratRom eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
