The SOLO TÜRK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İskender Baki Ekber should have stopped the shot. İnanç Uluşahins short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Nicky Rauvoets to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the game, SOLO TÜRK's İnanç Uluşahin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicky Rauvoets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 16th minute Gregorie Kloots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Baki Ekber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sola Solo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicky Rauvoets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicky Rauvoets made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when İnanç Uluşahin sent off a good shot on target. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancarbey Cenger, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee showed Jeremie Verhengen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremie Verhengen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Sancarbey Cenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 77 minutes, Okanalp Özarı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOLO TÜRK and the KV Schoonwater players grew even worse after the yellow card.
