Filip Adelsköld's late challenge caught a KV Schoonwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Adelsköld helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Garphyttan got a freekick which was hit by Filip Adelsköld. Lars Vennerberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Ludo De Maerschalckx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcus Stenkvist skillfully saved the ball. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Adelsköld, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pieter-Jan Roelandts hit a great ball. Nicky Rauvoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Dalberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when Garphyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky Rauvoets was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jens-Ove Kvarnström. Filip Adelsköld scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicky Rauvoets, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Adelsköld got free with Nicky Rauvoets in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicky Rauvoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Dalberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Garphyttan's Richard Sörman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Marcus Stenkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Dalberg made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Richard Sörman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garphyttan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Schoonwater the free kick. Richard Sörman kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nicky Rauvoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Dalberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KV Schoonwater may have spent more time on the ball, but Garphyttan were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
