The crowd rose to their feet as Nico Van Doren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harald Risvik. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Fransesco De Mol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Giske in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Nico Van Doren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harald Risvik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brent Schuts in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Nico Van Doren took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Harald Risvik to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, Brent Schuts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Risvik. Ku Kost IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brent Schuts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Theodor Giske's late challenge caught a Les Bistouquettes Bleues's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theodor Giske helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Ku Kost IL got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Giske. Harald Risvik acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bernt Van Impe. In the 46th minute, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Brent Schuts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Robert Ramsland kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goal looked a bit too open when Theodor Giske came free, but Fransesco De Mol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Nico Van Doren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When Robert Ramsland fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ku Kost IL's protests and gave Robert Ramsland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Robert Ramsland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes of play Ku Kost IL's Robert Ramsland was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 63rd match minute, Ku Kost IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Ramsland to maneuver through the defense. Harald Risvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Schuts in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Asbjørn Nordseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ku Kost IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Bistouquettes Bleues the free kick. The supporters of Ku Kost IL booed when Les Bistouquettes Bleues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koen Van Looy didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Giske in the 70th minute of play forced Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Fransesco De Mol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Ku Kost IL got a freekick which was hit by Asbjørn Nordseth. Ku Kost IL's Harald Risvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Schuts in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Brent Schuts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Harald Risvik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tage Liland hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Les Bistouquettes Bleues had played much better football throughout.
