The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Bombal to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Federico Frasquito. Antonio Mackenzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Angelo Aracena scored to the left of an out of position Astor Bero, making the score, 1-0. Vicente Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Isidro Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Bombal to maneuver through the defense. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Dante Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Samuel Pacull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Perl received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Astor Bero came out and tried to block the shot, but Gonzalo Perl slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Astor Bero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Izaga made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Elias Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Sengrat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Brian Izaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magallanes's Elias Longa was substituted for Angelo Aracena. Magallanes made a substitution. Baldomero Gamboa replaced Romeo Morel. Astor Bero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Longa went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Elias Longa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Lino Bombal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Astor Bero came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Magallanes's Elias Longa. But to his dismay, Elias Longa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 96 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Izaga came free, but Astor Bero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Magallanes were the better team. Magallanes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
